Kat is one of London's most loved Rocket Yoga teachers. We're a massive fan of her wonderful classes which are lit up by her gorgeous smile and positive attitude. We caught up with her to find out a little bit more about this wonderful teacher. 


Tell us a little bit about what you do?

I’m a full time yoga teacher, teaching in studios all over London.  I also produce and host yoga supper events in exciting venues around London with a friend of mine Mim, and founder of Wild Thyme Food.  Every ticket we sell for our events provides one child with a breakfast at school when they otherwise wouldn't have breakfast, through the charity Magic Breakfast.  

I’m very excited to be organising and hosting my first week long yoga retreat with Wild Thyme Food on the Greek island of Paros this May!  Before yoga I trained as an actress in London and although that has taken a back seat I do dip my toe in every so often with commercial work, which I’d love to marry up with my yoga in the future!

Do

What’s your Morning ritual?

Hot water with lemon, quinoa porridge with all the added extras or eggs if I have more time, and then a matcha latte or maybe a coffee if it’s not too early in the morning, I try to avoid having coffee to wake me up, I prefer having it as a treat later in the day!

What do you do on your days off?

I don't have any days off but on the rare occasion that I do, I chill out in my flat with friends or spend an age in the bath.

What do you do when no ones home?

Watch Come Dine With Me and eat cashew butter with a spoon straight from the bucket.

Last thing you learnt how to do?

I learnt how to use my dharma wheel to pike press into handstand


Wear

Daily uniform?

Yoga pants.

Shoes or trainers?

Trainers.

What do you wear at home?

My dressing gown and pool slides.

What do you do to relax?

Have a long bath, watch a series on netflix (currently watching The Bridge) and go to bed.

Detox or retox?

Detox

Where do you go to find peace?

Paros, the Greek Island my family home is on, or if that's too far away then my yoga mat.
